2021 QUIGLEY CHENNIN BLANC ALDER SPRINGS VINEYARD MENDOCINO

From a legendary planting in Mendocino County these vines are hand farmed on decomposing sandstone that’s the result of ancient volcanic activity. The fruit was harvested early September, 2021 before whole cluster pressing and fermentation in neutral French oak barrels, and aged on lees for 18 months. Our Chenin Blanc shows freshly cut apple, peach skin, jasmine, and finishes with a cleansing minerality.

I have been drinking Quigley Family Wines for a number of years and each vintage has been as outstanding. The 2021 Chennin is another vintage that falls into the category of Must Buy! We ordered a case and each bottle has been terrific!

Excellent wine, pairs well with summer bbq! Wine is soft and round in your mouth with overall delicate and subtle finish. Highly recommend this wine.
